Because it has less surface area. and area is inversly propotion to pressure. That's why sharp knife is used more than blunt knife. so less surface area more pressure
sharp knife is more effective tham blunt knife because due to surface area and pressure.... pressure is inversely proportional to surface area...so in blunt knife as surface is more thats y pressure is very less where as in sharp knife surface area is very less so thats y pressure is very more hence sharp knife is much useful than blunt knife

because a blunt kinfe have more surface area than sharp knife.As area decreases pressure increases
