Answer:We know that the curved surface area of a right circular cylinder with radius rr and height hh is CSA=2πrhCSA=2πrh.

It is given that the length of the rectangular sheet is l=44l=44 cm and the height of the sheet is h=20h=20 cm. Since the cylinder is formed among the length, therefore, length of rectangular sheet is equal to circumference of base that is:

l=2πr\\ \Rightarrow 44=2\times \dfrac { 22 }{ 7 } \times r\\ \Rightarrow r=\dfrac { 44\times 7 }{ 2\times 22 } =7l=2πr

l=2πr

44=2×22/7 ×r

r=44x7/22x2=7

herefore, the radius of the rectangular sheet is 77 cm.

We also know that the volume of a right circular cylinder with radius rr and height hh is V=πr^2hV=πr^2h

Here, the height is h=20h=20 cm and the radius is r=7r=7 cm, therefore,

V=πr^2 h=22/7x(7)^2x14=2156
