A stone reaches the ground first because the mass of stone is greater than a pice of paper...... And acceleration is depends upon the mass of a body...

there will three answer according to the situation :
1) if you consider the air resistance then the paper will slowly glide down but the stone will through with ease . because there are same gravity of paper and stone.but the air residence paper fall slowly
2) the mass of stone is more than a paper.
2) however there is no air . if the experiment in a vacuum chamber , then both will reach the ground together . because they have no gravity and other external forces .
