m2=600

u1=u2=0(before firing)

v1=?

v2=-3(recoil)

m1v1+m2v2=m1u1+m2v2

6v1+600*-3=6*0+600*0

6v1+-1800=0

6v1=1800

v1=1800÷6

v1=300

velocity of shell=300m/s
