HEY THERE,
The answer is :
The element 'x' is Copper (Cu).
When Copper is heated it react with Oxygen to give copper oxide .
Cu^2 + O^2 ------> 2(CuO)
When cooper oxide is reacted with hydrogen (H^2) it gives Copper and water (H^2O)
2(CuO) + 2(H^2) -------> Cu^2 + 2(H^2O)
As cooper oxide is reduced to copper and Hydrogen is increased to H^2O, it has both reduction and oxidation reaction So it is a redox reaction.
HOPE IT WILL HELP YOU.
