A ship can cover a certain distance in 10hours of speed of 16nautical miles per hour By how should its speed be increased so that only 8hours to cover the same dictance

The distance a ship covers in 10 hours=10×16=160

Speed to be increased so that it only takes 8 hours to reach 160 kms=160÷8=20

Therefore the ship moves at 20 nautical miles per hour to finish 160 miles in 8 hours
