a ship send a sound wave straight to the seabed.If the sea is 1.2 km Deep at the place,when will the ship recive the echo? Take the speed of the sound in seawater to 1500 m/s​

Answer:

The echo will reflect and come back, so that means that the distance will get doubled,

So,

Distance=1.2 x 2 = 2.4km

2.4km=2400m,

Speed=1500m/s

As we know, Time=Distance/Speed

Time=2400/1500

=1.6s
