a ship sends out a sound signal straight down and receives its echo after two second. what is the depth of the sea at this spot?(Speed of sound in water=1430m/s)

Given :
Speed of sound in water(s) = 1430m/s
Time taken for Echo(t) = 2 secs
The Distance travelled by sound will be 2d as first it goes down and then comes back so 2d..

So now Solution:
The formula is d = s×t/2
d = 1430 × 2 /2
d = 2860/2
So d = 1430 metres
