Let marked price be x
According to the question,
x-15℅ of x=Rs.884
x-15x/100=Rs.884
x-3x/20=Rs.884
(20x-3x)/20=Rs.884
17x/20=Rs.884
17x=Rs.884×20
17x=Rs.17680
x=Rs.17680/17
x=Rs.1040

Therefore the marked price was Rs.1040

Here is your answer
SP = Rs 884
Discount% = 15%

As we know the formula
mp =  \frac{sp \times 100}{(100 - discount\%)}  \\ mp =  \frac{884 \times 100}{(100 - 15)}  \\ mp =  \frac{88400}{85}  \\ mp = 1040
So Marked Price is Rs 1040
