A shop has 500 bulbs. Out of which 5 are defective. What percent of bulbs are defective?

Total bulbs = 500
No. of defective bulbs = 5
Percent of defective bulbs = (5/500) × 100
= 5/5
= 1
therefore 1% of bulbs are defective

Solution:
