Answer:

rupees earned by 1 notebook = 5

then,

rupees earned by 1500 notebooks = 1500*5

= ₹7500

rupees losses by selling 1 pen = 3

then,

rupees losses by selling 1500 pen = 1500*3

= ₹4500

(rupees earned by notebook)-( rupees earned by pens)

= ₹7500-₹4500

= ₹3000

the shopkeeper gets profit of ₹3000

Step-by-step explanation:

rupees earned by 1 note book =₹ 5

then,

1500 notebooks =1500×5=₹7500

then,

rupees earned by 1 pen =₹3

1500 pens =1500×3=₹4500

then,

(rupees earned by notebook - rupees earned by pen)

=₹ 7500 - ₹4500

= ₹ 7500 - ₹ 4500

= ₹ 3000

He gets profit of ₹ 3000
