a shop keeper purchased an article which was marked at rupees 1450 and he sold it for rupees 1334 calculate the discount given by him and express it as percent

Sp of article=1334

Discount=Mp-Sp

Discount=1450-1334=₹116

Discount %=D/Mp*100

Discount %=116/1450*100=1160/145=8%

Hence, Discount is ₹116 and Discount % is 8%
