C.P of chocolates =rupeese 4000
Cost spent on packaging the chocolate = rupeese 500
Therfore total C.P= rupeese(4000+500)
=rupeese4500
(i)One-Third of rupeese 4500=
=1÷3×rupeese4500
=rupeese1500
Profit Percent on rupeese 1500 =10%
Hence,Profit = Profit %×C.P÷100
= 10×1500÷100
Profit = rupeese150
(ii) Chocolates cost remaning = rupeee(4500-1500) i.e rupeese 3000
Chocolates remaning to be sold on 12% profit as a whole
12÷100×4500
= rupeese 540
Total Profit = (i) +(ii) i.e.=
rupeese(1500+150+3000+540)
