A shopkeeper bought 2 dozen of brushes at the rate of₹10 per dozen. If he sells them at ₹1per brush what profit will be earn?

in dozen 12 brushes will be there

cp of 1 dozen = ₹10

cp of 2 dozen = 10 ×2 = ₹20

sp of 1 dozen = 12×1 = ₹12

sp of 2 dozen = 12×2 = ₹24

profit = sp-cp

=24-20

= ₹4

24 brushes cost 20 rupees
if he sells at 1 rupees per brush
he will get 1×24=24 rupees
therefore he gain 24-20= 4rupees
