(i) At what price should he sell it to make a profit of 10%?
If he makes a loss of 5% by selling it, what is the selling price?​

SO,IF HE SELLS 10% MORE THAN THE ORIGINAL CP HE WILL GET 10% PROFIT,SO IF

SP=840

10%of SP= 10/100×840

=84

SP+10%of CP=840+84=924

So he must sell the item at 924 to gain a profit of 10%.

2)SP = 100-Loss%/100×CP

100-5/100×840

19×42

=798

So the SP is 798
