price of 1 dozen pencil is 120

price of 1 pencil is 120/12=10

1 dozen = 12

the poor boy buy 2 pencil for 16 rupee

and 1 pencil for 16/2=8

cost price of 2 pencil is 20

selling price of 2 pencil is 16

cost price > selling price = Loss

shopkeeper has a loss of 20-16=4rupees

loss percentage = number / total × 100

4 / 20 × 100 = 20 percentage
