A shopkeeper bought two fans for Rs 3120 he sold one of them at a profit of 36% and the other at a loss of 15% he found that each fan was sold for the same price find the cost price of each fan

so the first fan he got a profit of 36 percent hence we should find out how much money he has gained

36/100*3120

=1123.2 rupees gain

so we add this with the oiginal price to find the cost price

1123.2+3120

=4243.2rupees

the second one he lost by 15% so now we should find how much money he has lost

15/100*3120

= 468rs

now scince it is a loss we subtract this number from the  initial price

3120-468

=2652rs

so the cost price of the two were 4243.2 and 2652 rupees
