Let 1st radio price will be X And 2nd radio price is Y.

So both radio price is 6000rs

Writting sentence 1) into equation we get

X+Y=6000……..………………..(1)

1st radio sold at 20% profit & 2nd radio sold at 10% loss. And shopkeeper gained 2% profit on 6000rs investment

By writing sentence 2) into equation we get

1.2X+0.9Y=6120(102% 6000)………. (2)

By solving 1 & 2

We get

X=2400

Y=3600

Answer:

₹2400 and ₹3600

Step-by-step explanation:

  • One of radios cost= x
  • Another radio costs= ₹6000- x

Radio 1 sold for:

  • x+20%= 1.2x

Radio 2 sold for:

  • (₹6000-x) -10%= (₹6000-x)*0.9= ₹5400-0.9x

Received total:

  • ₹6000+2%= ₹6000*1.02= ₹6120

Altogether we have:

  • 1,2x+₹5400-0.9x=₹6120
  • 0.3x=₹6120-₹5400
  • 0.3x=₹720
  • x=₹720/0.3
  • x=₹2400
  • ₹6000-x=₹6000-₹2400=₹3600

Answer: ₹2400 and ₹3600
