A shopkeeper buys 80 articles for $2400 and sells them for a profit of 16%. Find the selling price of one article. Show me in step by step and I will mark you as Brainliest.

Here is yours answer----

Cost price of the article (C.P.) = $2400
                           Profit%(P%) = 16%
     Using the formula-----
  S.P. = [(100 + P%)C.P.}/100
         = {(100 + 16)2400}/100
         = {116}24
         = 2784
Thus, selling price of the 80 Articles is $2784

Thus, the selling price of one article = $2784/80
                                                         =  $ 34.8
Hence, the selling price of one article is $ 34.8
