Greetings..!

Cost Price of 80 articles = Rs 2,400

So,Cost Price of 1 article = 2400/80 = Rs 30

Profit Percentage = 16%

By using formula for Selling Price,

SP of one article = (100+Gain%/100)*C.P = (116/100)*30 = Rs 34.80

Answer : Hence, SP of one article when profit is 16% is Rs 34.80.

Solution :- cost of 80 article = ₹ 2400

profit = 16%

Total profit =16% of 2400

= ₹16 ×2400

100

= ₹ 384

:- Selling price of 80 article = ₹(2400+384)

=₹ 2784

Selling price of 1 article = 2784 =₹34.80
