A shopkeeper buys 80 articles for rupees 2,400 and sells them for a profit of 16% . Find the selling price of one article.​

= 30 Rs

If 30 Rs is 100% of Cp of 1 article and there is a profit of 16 %, then final price is 116% of Cp that is

C.P. OF 1 ARTICLE IS RS. 2400/80

=RS. 30

PROFIT = 16%

P = SP - CP

SP= CP + P
