A shopkeeper buys a packet of wafers at ₹64 per packet . He spend ₹4 on transport of 4 packets . At what price should he sell the packet to gain 16%

Total cost for four packs of wafers =64×4 + 4×4

=256+16= 272 Rs

Now in order to gain 16%,

gain= 272/100*16

=43.52 Rs is gain for 4 packs

= he should sell 4 packs for 272+43.52=315.52

or each pack for 315.52/4 =78.88 Rs

HE SHOULD SELL EACH PACK OF WAFERS FOR 78.88 TO GAIN 16 %
