Dear ,

Your Answer is ; 40.23% Profit

=≈≈≈===≈≈≈≈≈===≈≈≈≈≈=≈≈=
Step by Step Explanation ;-
=≈≈≈===≈≈≈≈≈===≈≈≈≈≈=≈≈=

• Let the printed price of the washing machine be Rs. x

• Sales Tax 7 % of x = 7x/100
• Selling Price = x + 7x/100 = 107x/100

Now, according to the question ;-

=> 107x/100 = 36000
=> 107x = 3600000
=> x = 3600000/107
=> x = 33644.85 or 33645

• Printed Price of the washing machine = ₹ 33645

• Now, Rebate of 30 % on printed price = 33645×30/100
= Rs. 10093

• Price after rebate = 33645 - 10093 = Rs. 23552

• Transportation cost = Rs. 400

=> Actual cost price = 23552 + 400 = Rs. 23992

• Profit = Printed price - Actual cost price
= 33645 - 23992

Profit = Rs. 9653

=> Profit percentage = (Profit×100)/Actual cost price

=> (9653×100)/23992

• Profit = 40.23 %

Therefore ,
40.23% is his Profit or Gain percent.
