A shopkeeper buys an article for 1200 and sells it for * 1450. Find his profit
percent.

CP = 1200

SP = 1450

Also, SP = (1+P%/100) CP

1450 = (1 + P%/100) 1200

1450/1200 = 1 + P%/100

1450/1200 = (100 + P%) /100

1450 × 100 /1200 = 100 + P%

1450/12 - 100 = P%

1450 - 1200 / 12 = P%

250 / 12 = P%

P% = 20.83%
