\huge{\boxed{\mathtt{\red{ANSWER}}}}

7 -------------- Rs5

5-------------- Rs 3

35 ------------- 25 (CP)

35 -------------21 (SP)

Loss = 25-21 = Rs 4

Loss% = 4*100/25 = 16% (Ans)

There is a loss

Step-by-step explanation:

Cp of 7 pens = Rs.5

CP of 1 pen =\frac{5}{7}

SP of 5 pens = Rs.3

Sp of 1 pen = \frac{3}{5}

CP of 1 pen > Sp of 1 pen

So, there is loss

Loss = CP - SP = =\frac{5}{7}-\frac{3}{5} =\frac{4}{35}

Hence there is a loss
