A shopkeeper earns 30% profit on selling an item at 19.50. How much method should he sell in order to earn 40% profit?

The bucket should be sold at Rs. 21 to get Profit of 40%

Selling Price of the bucket = Rs.19.50 when

Profit = 30%

The Selling Price for profit % = 40%

▪ Selling Price = Rs.19.5

▪ Profit % = 30%

▪ Cost Price = ?

❖ We know :

Cost Price = Rs.15

▪ Cost Price = Rs.15 (from above)

▪ Profit % = 40%

▪ Selling Price = ?

❖ We know :

The bucket should be sold at Rs. 21 to get Profit of 40%
