Answer:

a) Total profit = 1600 rupees

Profit made by selling shirts = 200×10

= 2000 rupees

Number of T - shirts = (2000-1600) ÷ 50

= 400 ÷ 50 = 8

So , he sold 10 shirts and 8 t- shirts

b) Total t-shirts sold = 12

Loss made by selling t-shirts = 12 × 50 = 600

Shirts needed to sell to neutralize the profit and loss = 600÷200=3

Therefore , shirts needed to sell to get nor profit neither loss is 3
