Solution

Given :-

  • Profit in January = ₹ 12,000
  • Profit in February = ₹ 22,000
  • Profit in March = ₹ 16,000

Find :-

  • The ratio of profit in March to the total profit .

Explanation

First Calculate Total Profit.

==> Total profit = (Profit in January) + (Profit in February) + (Profit in March )

==> Total profit = 12,000 + 22,000 + 16,000

==> Total profit = ₹50,000

Now, Calculate Ratio between March & Total Profit.

==> (Profit in March ) : ( Total Profit)

Keep above Value ,

==> 16,000 : 50,000

Or,

==> 16 : 50

Or,

==> 8 : 25

Since

  • Ratio between March & Total Profit will be = 8 : 25

Hence

  • Your Answer will be option number (a).
