Step-by-step explanation:

Profit Rs. 5

Loss. Rs. 2

Pens sell . 10

pencils sell . 10

10×5= 50 is the profit of pens an then

50 - 10 × 2= 20 is the loss from pens

50 - 20 = 30 is total profit made by pens

and for pencil again this method

I hope this will help you ( I am not sure about the answer )

i have a doubt with question.. is RS 2 loss caused for the pencil box.. accordingly I'm writing the answer..

profit for 1 pen = 5 RS

loss for each box = 2 RS

no. of boxes he sold = 10

no. of pens he sold = 10

the profit for 10 pen = 10 * 5

= 50

the loss for 10 boxes = 10 * 2

= 20

therefore the next profit = 50-20

= 30

hope it helps you
