A shopkeeper marks his good at 40% above cost price but allows a discount of 5% to customer. what actual profit does he make if he receives rupees 1064 after paying the discount ?

                     = Rs 7

SP                 = Rs(140-7) = Rs 133

Profit             = Rs (133-100) = Rs33

                     = 33/133 × 1064

                     = 35112/ 133

                      =264 Rs

the actual profit by the shopkeeper is Rs. 264.
