shopkeeper purchase 11 knives in 10 rupees
so cost of 1 knives is 10/11
now 10 knife cost is 10/11 ×10=100/11
now he sell 10 knives for 11 rs
but the real cost is 100/11
so the profit is 11-100/11=21/11
so the profit is 21/11or rs 1.91

he purchase 11 knives at 10 Rs.
so, then the Rs of 1 knives will 10/11 rs
then the cost pice of 10 knives 10×10/11 =100/11
the sell price is 11 rs.
Profit 11-100/11=21/11
profit percentage is
 \frac{21}{11} \div \frac{100}{11} \times 100 = 21 \: percemt

hope it helps
