Answer:

Cost price of the cycle = Rs. 1200

Selling price of the cycles = Rs. 1500

SP > CP ⇒ there is a gain.

⇒ Gain = SP - CP = 1500 - 1200 = Rs. 300

∴ Gain Percentage = CPGain(100)%

=1200300(100)%=25%

∴ The shopkeeper makes a profit of 25%

Given:

We have a shopkeeper purchase 15 radio at the rate Rs.270 per radio and sold all the radio for Rs.4200.

To Find:

Find out his profit or loss percentage?

Step-by-step explanation:

  • We have cost price of 1 radio is Rs 270.
  • Then cost price of 15 Radio will by given by

        C.P=15\times270=4050

  • Also we have selling price of 15 radios is 4200.
  • Since selling price is more then the cost price of laptop thus there will be profit
  • Profit=S.P-C.P = 4200-4050=Rs 150

Profit % is given by the formula

                    [tex]Profit\%=\frac{Profit}{C.P} \times100\\\\ Profit\%=\frac{150}{4050} \times100\\\\ Proft\%=\frac{1500}{405} =3.70\\\\ [/tex]

Thus, profit will beRs 3.70
