the method is=>(20/40)=>(2/4)=>(1/2)=>0.5

W/w=mass of solute/mass of solution

molar mass of NaOH=23+16+1=40

and solute contain 20% that means 20g is present in 100 g,so the solute is 20 and solution is 40.
