A shopkeeper purchased 60 articles at Rs.180 each .He sold one third of them at a loss of 9 per cent .At what price each must he sell the remaining articles so as to gain 10 per cent on the whole deal

Final Profit Required = 18% of 900 = 162

Loss on 1/3 goods = 12% of 1/3 x 900 = 36

Profit to be earned from remaining 2/3 goods is 198.

=> % gain is 198/600 x 100 = 33%
