CP of shopkeeper = Rs: 1000
Transportation cost = Rs: 300
Polishing Cost = Rs: 200
Total Cost On the purchased bed = 1000+300+200
                                                          = Rs: 1500
SP of the bed = Rs: 8100

Profit = SP - CP
          = 8100 - 1500
          = Rs: 6600
Profit% = (Profit/CP)*100
              = (6600/1500)*100
              = Rs: 440%

Profit Percentage=Profit×100÷C
Profit=8100-(100+200+300)
=8100-1500
=6500
Now, Profit Percentage= 6500÷1500×100
=440% approximately.

Anonymous: to find profit% you have to divide profit with the cost price which is 1500
Anonymous: and the shopkeeper purchased the bed for 1000 not 100
Anonymous: and 8100 - 600 = 7500 not 6500
gkhuteta999: Ya ya, I just got quite confused.
gkhuteta999: Thanks bro!
