Cost price = Rs. 40
Selling price = Rs. 50
Profit = Selling price - Cost price
= Rs. 50 - Rs. 40
= Rs. 10
Profit percent = Profit / cost price × 100
= 10/40 × 100
= 25%
Selling price = Rs. 50
Profit = Selling price - Cost price
= Rs. 50 - Rs. 40
= Rs. 10
Profit percent = Profit / cost price × 100
= 10/40 × 100
= 25%
