A shopkeeper selling an article at a discount of 30% losses Rs 400. If he allowed 10% discount he gains Rs 200. Find the marked price and the cost price of the article.

Answer:

CP = ₹300 Profit % = 10%

=> SP = (1.1)300 = ₹330.

Discount is 20% => MP = (100/80)330 = ₹412.50
