Discount Percent = 10%
Discount= 10/100*x
               = x/10
m.p. of the article-discount=s.p.of the article.
x-x/10=248.50
(10x-x)/10=248.50
9x/10=248.50
x=(248.50*10)/9
  = 2485/9
  = Rs. 276.11
