Explain the action of dilute hydrochloric acid on the following with chemical equation (a) magnesium ribbon (b) sodium hydroxide (c) crushed egg shells

i) Mg + 2HCl = MgCl2 + H2
ii) NaOH + HCl = NaCl + H2O
iii) Ca + 2HCl = Cacl2 + H2
Because egg shells are made of calcium.
