A shopkeeper sold two fans for rupees 990 each. One he made 10% gain and all other he made 10% loss find his overall gain or loss .

suppose x=cost of a 1st fan y=cost of 2nd fan x+y=990 suppose x=500 y=500 profit on x=50 loss on y=50
