a shopkeepers buys two tv sets of the same type he sells one of them at a profit of 20% and other at a loss of 5% if the difference in selling price is Rs 700 then find the price of each tv set

Let cp of the tv be Rs x
SP at 20%gain=Rs(x . 120/100)
and its SP at 5% Loss=Rs(x .95/100)
difference in two selling price=Rs 700
120x/100 - 95x/100 = 700
120x - 95x /100 =700
aftr cross multiply
120x - 95x =700 .10025
x = 70000x = 70000/ 25
x = Rs 2800
