A shopkepper had 86.25 l of mustard oil . He sold off 38.75 l of oil . How many litres of oil was left with him ?

Simply subtract the two quantities

i.e. 86.26 - 38.75

Hence the answer will be 47.50 l.

total quantity of mustard oil is 86.25 l
quantity of oil sold off is 38.75 l
quantity of oil left with him=(86.25-38.75) l

=47.5 l
