Title:
The Ripped Newspaper
Story:
The quiet, seaside town of Amsterdam holds a secret.
Heather Smith has the perfect life working as a detective in the city and smiling with her daring girlfriend, Kimberly Platt.
However, when she finds a ripped newspaper in her cellar, she begins to realise that things are not quite as they seem in the Smith family.
A wake leaves Heather with some startling questions about her past, and she sets off to deserted Amsterdam to find some answers.
At first the people of Amsterdam are courageous and considerate. She is intrigued by the curiously intelligent painter, Michelle Gloop. However, after she introduces her to hard caffeine, Heather slowly finds herself drawn into a web of robbery, fraud and perhaps, even kidnap.
Can Heather resist the charms of Michelle Gloop and uncover the secret of the ripped newspaper before it's too late, or will her demise become yet another Amsterdam legend?

“Grim Day for Luciano Family”, headlines screamed across the streets in earlier hours.
Three days later, Martha brought Luigi the aged Polaroid of the family that he had asked for. Her eyes salted as she tried to smile. Trembling, she leaned closer to her beloved 26-year-old brother.
“I can’t Luigi…you can’t go to jail for me,”
