the earliest cities such as harrapa, mohenjadaro civilisation. a ehile back they were hunters,nomads and gatherers who moved from one place to another after resources depleted from one place. then after sometime they wanted to stay in one place so they reared animals, grown plants etc. this is how the towns came to process then they evolved to cities.
