The Great Bath is one of the well-known structures among the ruins of the ancient Indus Valley Civilization at Mohenjo-daro in Sindh, Pakistan. Archaeological evidence indicates that the Great Bath was built in the 3rd millennium BCE, soon after the raising of the "citadel" mound on which it is located.

The most impressive structure at Mohenjo Daro is the great bath.It is a rectangular structure and resembles a swimming pool.It is made of baked bricks and has been made watertight with a layer of tar.The great bath has two flights of steps, one on each side.There are two rooms on the side fr changing clothes.Water was probably drawn from a well and drained out after use.People perhaps used it to bath on special occasions.
