WHAT IS WATER?
Water is a resources of environment made up of atoms of Hydrogen and Oxygen ratio of 2:1.
WHAT IS WATER CYCLE?
The continous cycle of processes by which water circulates between the earth's oceans, atmosphere, and land, involving precipitation as rain and snow, drainage by condensation in streams and rivers, and return to the atmosphere by evaporation and transpiration is called WATER CYCLE.
DESCRIPTION OF STAGES IN WATER CYCLE :-
* In summer and sunny days the water get evaporated from liquid to gaseous state i.e. water vapour and by lose of water in plant leaves called transpiration.
* In atmosphere the vapour get cools and again precepitates to form rain,hail stones or snow by condensation.
*Again it falls in sea , land and river and again get back to atmosphere by heat.
IMPORTANCE OF WATER CYCLE :-
1. Maintain temperature of environment.
2. Sustains life on earth by providing water for living.
3. Support life of plants and food chain.
4. Water used for various life process and development of social environment.
5. Provide hydroenergy.
FACTORS AFFECTING WATER CYCLE :-
1. Deforestation as lack of trees lacks transpiration.
2. Over use of water due to over population.
3. Human activities like water pollution and air pollution , global warming etc.
4.Industrialisation and depletion of ground water.
5. Extention of wild life and vegetation.
THEREFORE, now it is needed to protect our environment and water cycle unless in future the most sufferings shall be faced by human.
