Answer:

( B ) 66512

Step-by-step explanation:

The discount offered by showroom = 18%

Raghu purchased at Rs. 54540

Then,

The marked price is given by

54540 x 100/82

=~ Rs. 66,512

Sᴏʟᴜᴛɪᴏɴ :-

→ Raghuram bike purchase price = SP of the bike for showroom after giving discount of 18% on Marked Price.

Let us Assume That, Marked price of the bike is Rs.x .

Than, we can conclude That,

→ 54540 = x - (18% pf x)

→ 54540 = x - (18 * x)/100

→ 54540 = x[1 - (18/100)]

→ 54540 = x * (1 - 9/50)

→ 54540 = x * (41/50)

→ x = (54540 * 50)/41

x ≈ Rs.66,512 (Ans.)

Direct :-

→ MP = (SP * 100) / (100 - D%)

→ MP = (54540 * 100) / (100 - 18%)

→ MP = (5454000) / (82)

→ MP ≈ Rs.66,512 (Ans.) .
