Hey there!

As we know a = - w^2x

And according to the question a = -16x

Therefore , by substituting the values we get:

-16x = -w^2x

• x gets cancelled from both sides.

w = √16

w = 4

Now we know ; T = 2π / w

Hence, time period (T) is 2π/4

ANSWER : T = π/2
