A simple pendulum makes 300 oscilations in 10 minutes find the time period and frequency of its osciallations

For a simple pendulum :-

Given :-

\sf{Number \: of \: oscillations = 300}

\sf{Time \: \: taken = 10 \: minutes = 600 \: seconds}

To Find :-

\sf{Time \: period \: and \: frequency \: of \: its \: oscillations}

Using Formulas :-

\sf{Time \: period =\dfrac{No. \: of \: oscillations}{used \: time}}

\sf{Frequency =\dfrac{1}{Time \: period}}

Solution :-

\sf{Time \: period \: (T) =\dfrac{300}{600}}

\sf{T =\dfrac{1}{2} = 0.5 \: second}

Now ,

\sf{Frequency \: (f) =\dfrac{1}{T}}

\sf{f =\dfrac{1}{0.5}}

\sf{f =\dfrac{10}{5}}

\sf{f = 2 \: Hertz}

As We got :-

\sf{Time \: period = 0.5 \: Second}

\sf{Frequency = 2 \: Hertz}
