as we know that the time taken to complete one vibration is called timeperiod.
therefore,time period = time taken/oscillation
=32/20
=1.6 sec.

❄❄ DETAILED CONCEPTION ❄❄

➡ A simple pendulum is a heavy point mass (known as bob) suspended from a rigid support by a massless and inextensible string.

➡ The term "Oscillations" refer to the number of complete to and fro motion of the bob of the pendulum. It is similar to vibration.

➡ The term "Frequency" refers to the number of oscillations made in one second by the bob of the pendulum.

➡ The term "Time period" means the total time taken to complete one oscillation.

==================================

❄❄❄❄ SOLUTION ❄❄❄❄

In 32 seconds, no. of complete oscillations = 20

So, in one second, no. of complete oscillations = Frequency = 20/32 = 0.625 Hz.

Now, time period = 1/frequency

= (1/0.625) seconds

= 1.6 Seconds [ANSWER]
